today's catch

My sister Dawn lets me know when I'm falling behind on my garden updates-- so these are for you, Dawn!
This is getting to be the season that makes me want to quote that Emily Dickinson poem about the Fall-- that I can only remember a few lines from.. you know the one!


1) the hand of Tony, holding an apple from our little tree
2) pineapple guavas!
3) "yankee doodle" backed up by gourd leaves

5) a pinker hollyhock (with bee)
