
All season long I'm shooting photos of this, one of our most ubiquitous wildflowers. I'm fascinated by all its phases, from a bud surrounded by a web of green tracery, to its pricky-soft nest of seeds. From above, from below, and especially catching the last rays of sunset. Hadn't even been sure it was officially Queen Anne's Lace, but I recent Google Search appears to confirm it.
Carrot family, they say.
